An excellent online activity for use with a whole class on an interactive whiteboard or for individual use in your schools computer suite. An eponym is a word which has borrowed its name from a person - for instance a sandwich takes its name from John Montagu the 4th Earl of Sandwich.
Students are posed a series of questions and asked to click select an appropriate artifact which derived its name from the given person.
